Certification statuses indicate where individuals stand in the position certification and person certification processes. Training Management provides three primary statuses and one starting status, however, you can add new statuses or change the names of the existing statuses provided in the Global organization.
The following statuses are applied to the certification workflow listed below:
Status | Description |
---|---|
NOT STARTED |
This status is applicable when the Role | Requirement has not yet been activated in the Person record and therefore, the person does not yet have to fulfill the Role | Requirement. |
INWORKS |
This status is applicable when the Role | Requirement has been activated and the person must now fulfill the Role | Requirement. |
NEED EVALUATION |
This status is applicable when the Role | Requirement has been activated and SmartComm is in the process of evaluating the requirement to determine due dates and fulfillment options. |
CURRENT |
This status is applicable when the Role | Requirement has been fulfilled by the person. |
EXPIRED |
This status is applicable when the refresher Role | Requirement is now overdue and must be fulfilled by the person. |
User Rights
The following rights must be assigned to a user for that user to manage or view certification statuses:
Rights | Description |
---|---|
PRS_VIEW |
Allows the user to view certification statuses. |
PRS_MANAGE |
Allows the administrator to add, view, edit, and delete a Certification Status record. |
